I have been a patient of Carol Stream Dental associates for 20 years and have had nothing but positive experiences there!
Dr. Kim helped me navigate a challenging situation when I had a cyst appear between my teeth and the work she did to create a Maryland bridge for me was exceptional. She continues to monitor my situation with the utmost thoughtfulness and care, not to mention her contagious humor and joyful personality which are always appreciated!
My hygienist Karleigh is also someone I am grateful for. She knows my teeth and the sensitivity issues I have. She always makes sure that I am comfortable and answers all of my questions and concerns. She is very knowledgeable in best practices and helps educate her patients on what is best for their situation to keep their dental health in top condition.
I also took my children there until they moved out on their own. They do a great job working with children and teens and have an excellent team there to support patients through their orthodontic needs as well. I highly recommend Carol Stream Dental Associates!

SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND STAY AWAY!!!
Absolutely unprofessional administration and billing team. My last appointment was in January. I made another appointment recently (August). A few days after my appointment is made I received a "balance due" notification of almost 600$, for adjustments made to my account several days AFTER I made my most recent appointment. When I called and asked for clarification the front desk had no idea if the "insurance amount's that just came in were payments for my procedures done or balance owed..." Sorry no, that's not how insurance works. I immediately cancelled my appointment and will never be going back.
On top of this, they don't have any voicemail or answering service. They don't send out reminders for appointments. Some of their team aren't even covered by insurance so they will tell you are covered for X procedure than low and behold that dentist isn't covered by insurance so now you owe the whole amount!

No I don't want to give you a chance to make things right. You had several. My crown next to the extraction I had done in January broke 2 days after the extraction, I'm sure it was related to your improper extraction process, as was suggested also by the evaluating Dr. I later saw at another practice regarding my implant.

The dentist and clinical staff did good work and were perfectly professional. However, the front desk and billing staff are rude and condescending. I found constant, recurring discrepancies in our family's billing, and when I asked for clarification, the staff became defensive and unprofessional. Our entire family has stopped going because of how we were treated by the administrative team.

Dr. Kim is incredible. Very patient, kind & professional. For someone who is extremely nervous to have procedures done, Dr. Kim is very understanding and always does an exceptional job. Highly recommend not only Dr. Kim, but the entire team.
