I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone at Dentists of Hinsdale Lake. They have truly been a Godsend to my family!! We have been to so many dentist over the years with various dental issues. My children have had severe dental anxiety, and working with Dr. Cristian has changed that! He is seriously the kindest most patient gentle doctor. I hate to play favorites and name names, but Katie is both of my daughters most favorite hygienist. They look forward to seeing her each time we go. But really they are all so lovely, and make our visits so pleasant!
We have had a couple of the other dentist do the checkups at cleanings, and they have all been so friendly and kind as well.
All of the staff there is absolutely wonderful and we have had only positive experiences. We love Dentist of Hinsdale Lake so much that not only my family, but the families of my two sisters also now see Dr. Cristian as well!

I’ve been going to this dental office for a while now, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! The staff is genuinely super friendly — they always greet you with a smile and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. The office is spotless and very clean, which gives me total peace of mind.
What really stands out is how thorough they are. They take the time to explain everything clearly, answer all my questions, and work with me to create a solid treatment plan that fits my needs and schedule. Their availability is excellent too — it’s easy to get appointments that work for me without long waits.
If you’re looking for a dentist who combines professional care with a warm, welcoming environment, this is the place. I leave every visit feeling informed, confident, and actually looking forward to my next one. Highly recommended!

I've been a patient at this dental office since mid-2025, choosing them for my Invisalign treatment. Dr. Chummar is outstanding! Today, I received one full crown and one partial, and the process was exceptionally smooth. The office technology and overall comfort are top tier. From the receptionist to the customer service team, I genuinely appreciate the attentive care given to every patient. Thank you to the entire staff! Go Argentina!!

Get a second opinion!
I came here and like the other reviews say, they did the fancy “3D scan” of my teeth and told me I needed 12 fillings. Which included redoing fillings I had done only a year prior (the kind I have should last much longer than that). This would have cost me several thousand dollars. My last cleaning at my previous dentist was only 8 months prior and I think they would have said something to me if my teeth were really in such disrepair. I only went here from my last dentist because I moved from out of state. I got a second opinion at a different dentist a week after. She was completely baffled, said my current fillings were fine and that she would recommend NO FILLINGS. It is insane to me that if I hadn’t gotten a second opinion they would’ve drilled away that much of my healthy enamel. Once it’s filed away it will never come back, you only get one set of teeth to last your whole life and I can’t believe this place would have taken that much away from me. They made it sound like I urgently needed these fillings, it’s been 2 years and 3 cleanings (at another dentist office of course) since then and I still have not been recommended any fillings. PLEASE if they tell you that you urgently need very expensive dental work get a second opinion.
This whole situation seemed so shady to me please be careful

I genuinely hate leaving bad reviews. I understand things happen sometimes and bad reviews feel like bad karma but after nearly a year and thousands of dollars spent with other dentists and an endodontist fixing many painful mistakes, I unfortunately feel like I should say something.
First, I had gone in because I had a tooth that had been bothering me sometimes. Had a full exam, they suggested a bunch of fillings for “small cavities” and an inlay for one of my teeth which at the time I’d assumed was the tooth bothering me. I went in for my first appointment for fillings and looked at what we were doing and saw that they didn’t have work planned for the tooth that was bothering me and the inlay was for a different tooth. I questioned it, she (Dr Chummar) said she’d take a look again and was like “oh my god! It’s fractured! Did this just happen?” Like no, this has bothered me for a while and is why I came in. She said she somehow totally missed it at my consultation the week prior and could see it now on my scans. Said she’d “clean it out real quick and take a look” at the time I didn’t know that meant drilling away most of my tooth and then being like “oh, we need to do another inlay!” And then had me sit there with drilled away teeth while a lady with a clip board came over and told me it would be another grand and made me sign and pay right then. Totally unexpected and if I knew that was going to be the case I would have told her not to drill my tooth right then and there. I was given no options, no warning, just made to pay on the spot. Got the inlay and a couple other fillings. Had continued pain in that tooth and the bite adjusted a couple times. Had the other fillings done over the course of a few appointments and ran into another issue. I had a small visible cavity that I thought was being worked on. Instead she worked on the teeth around it. I went home and noticed and you could still see a little hole in my molar so I went back and saw someone else there. He adjusted the inlay again, and looked at the cavity that was left and was like “uhh, yeah I see what you mean. Not quite sure why she left that one.” And seemed to be awkwardly fumbling for a moment to find a reason/excuse. Got that taken care of and he said he didn’t know what was wrong with the inlay tooth and to see an endodontist.
Fast forward, I get a $900+ bill despite paying my estimates. how are their estimates SO FAR off? I did send an email asking for an itemized explanation of my bill and I was sent a very confusing looking insurance billing sheet and I asked for clarity and it wasn’t the most productive conversation or helpful.
Then a different tooth she worked on started hurting and then one night I was flossing and my filling came out and it HURT. I saw a different office urgently to fix it. And now I’ve had to redo nearly everything she did. That filling that came out was way too deep and had to get a root canal and crown, then another one she did wasn’t done properly either and still had cavity under it. The endodontist I saw today said the inlay was done wrong and I need to do a root canal and then crown it and hope for the best but she removed a ton of tooth structure so fingers crossed. She also missed a very large and deep cavity on another tooth and she worked on that area and I guess ignored it. One other tooth is sore now too. My new dentist is baffled, the endodontist made a face and sighed. This new place is nearly half the price much better work. It’s been nearly a year of pain and thousands of dollars to fix all of her mistakes and I somehow still have a $900+ bill from them.
When I complained and asked them not to call me they wouldn’t talk through email and kept calling me repeatedly while I was at work. Now I don’t want to talk.
I’m the type to make excuses for people and let things go and I’m very understanding. We’re all human. I make mistakes all the time. But this was genuinely incredibly frustrating, painful, and expensive. One or two mistakes? Fine. Things happen. Nearly every single thing going wrong? Like come on.
